The high number of strands and low resistance values enable the speaker to operate at optimum level. The question when specifying is to check the purity of the copper as it is this which gives the lowest resistance figure. In the case of the TruSound speaker cables the copper purity is 99.99999% so can be classed as OFC (Oxygen Free Copper).
